Razor has definitely addressed a previous problem with past models, the clearance between the deck and ground was quite low for this stand-up type scooter. The new E300 now comes with wider, aluminum rimmed 10-inch pneumatic front and rear tires to provide better ground to belly space and handle those little bumps and potholes.

Its ultra quiet chain drive motor ensures a smooth ride of up to 15 miles per hour. The scooter operated on rechargeable elective power provided by 2 12-volt batteries that deliver up to 45 minutes of cruising and coasting along the neighborhood trail. Twist grip throttle and a hand-controlled rear break regulates you ride as you zip and glide. Good Stuff

Good Point 1.	We like the Sturdy frame and full-sized deck on the Razor E300. The scooter can take on users that weight up to 220 lbs
Good Point 2.	The large 10-inch pneumatic front and rear tires on the Razor E300 give better deck to surface clearance
Good Point 3.	The Handy twist grip throttle on this electric scooter regulates acceleration and speed preferences

Our Verdict:

Razor has definitely addressed the persistent problem in the previous E100 and E200 models and a lot of users complained about the very little clearance from riding surfaces to the deck. This caused damage to the bottom parts of the scooter, aside from being unable to handle small bumps and holes. While lower clearance provides better stability for the youngsters, the Razor E300 is definitely a big improvement with its extra-wide deck and bigger 10-inch pneumatic front and rear tires.

It provides better clearance than the older standard 8-inch. There is still a shortage on power when handling upward inclines, but really this scooter was made for the youngsters. So the power is good enough to give them exciting riding speed and power, yet not too fast to cause menace and hazards as they zip and cruise through the neighborhood pathways. Even though there are still a few minor issues, such as the charge time & battery life being a bit of a let down, we still favor the Razor E300.

“The good: My son loves this scooter! He was able to ride it in slightly wet conditions with no problem. It was even able to go up a slightly steep hill with effort. The speed is perfect and the brakes are great. It’s also quiet so you can use it without neighbors getting mad. The bad: It’s 52 pounds so it’s hard to lift. The throttle isn’t variable speed like they said it was; it’s single speed. Also, because the batteries are lead acid they can suffer from “the memory effect”.
